The Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven Ayrshire School Districts, in compliance with legislation approved early May 20, has removed the mask mandate that has been in place for the majority of this year. This gives parents the opportunity and responsibility to determine whether a student wears a mask.
Although it is no longer mandated, masks are still recognized as a method to mitigate the contagiousness of COVID-19 and other airborne infections. Students and staff are encouraged to wear masks to protect themselves and others and have the choice to do so.
We appreciate the health-supporting efforts of our students, staff, families, and community thus far during this pandemic.
